"The Power Of Nightmares" ATTENTION ALL BBC VIEWERS

Attention All BBC Viewers!

One of the greatest and most thrilling documentaries on terrorism is to show again on the BBC network. It's called "the power of nightmares", and it will be on next week, on BBC2, Tuesday the 18th at 23:50, then part two the next day and part 3 on thursday 20th, same time.

This program initially just dwelved into the root causes of both neo-conservatism and islamism, claiming they were responding to similar stimuli, namely big changes in western society and its influence on muslims around the world.

It eventually looks into the support the taliban and bin laden enjoyed from the US in the 80s and ultimately, considers the origins of such extreme elements.

Though I certainly am not in full agreement with this programme, I'm pleased to see such critical and at least relatively mind-boggling material on mainstream TV. I doubt this would happen in the States any time soon. This is much more than Michael Moore inelaborate and ineloquent attempts on the matter.

If anyone can advertise any other availability of this program, I'd really appreciate.
